I'm learning how to use more of my stamps with patterned paper on cards giving me so much more options in my creativity. I couldnt be fussy to cutt straight today so I fussy cutted if that lol, I sprayed a little yellow mist over the stamps for a bit of colour.

Using Tim holtz ink they are awesome

Christmas Greetings Mixed Media Tag

Today is a scorcher weather wise, taking my mind off the record conditions  for a while I created a fun and cute little Christmas Card for my pressies this year the first one for the year. It's a Kaisercraft stamp collection both stamps, I used Uniquely Creative Gold Glitter tape, and Kaisercraft Card Stock, Happy Mail Ribbon. Kaisercraft Ink.

I will add the tutorial below soonish, I need to sleep I reckon

Feeling Sketchy challenge 229

I'm so glad to be creating for my favourite challenges with many inspiring collections

This one is the craftanoon collection from Kaisercraft and a few other bits and pieces

details of the sketch below, here is my interpretation

PRODUCTS USED

Craftanoon collection papers from Kaisercraft

Prima Marketing Paper Flowers

Dylusions spray mist (Red)

You will also need the following tools and materials: 

Eg GLUE, tape, Scissors

Scissors

Paper Cutter

Double Sided Tape

and small size foam dots

No GLUE

INSTRUCTIONS

1.  Fussy Cutting

I cut the base of the card with white kaisercraft card stock to the shape I wanted, I'm not sure of the measurements I'm not good at that next time I will photo it on my craft matt to give you an idea

I cut the pattern paper to a cm or so less the size of the card, and then the secon piece of pattern paper 2cm or so less to make the frame of the card

2, Die Cutting 

There was no die cutting involved

3. Stamping

No Stamping involved

4.Edging and Backing

I used grey nuvo mousse to the very edge of the card with my finger tip

5. Constructing the creation

I placed the larger pattern paper on the white cardstock first using double sided tape to stick it down

Using the smaller size pattern paper I stuck to the front of the card with double sided tape

the middle sentiment is stuck down with small double sided foam dots

I then paced the yellow strip underneat the sentiment which is the length of the card

interpreting the two strips I added a small white strip on the yellow one using small size double sided tape to stick the white strip down

The flowers are stuck down with regular double sided foam dots

The Tag

is sprayed with red Dylusions spray mists

I tied a happy mail ribbon piece to the tag

and used a craftanoon sentiment and add it to the tag

The tag is stuck down with double sided tape

I have been blending colours with the sprays, next I want to get in actual colouring and maybe some water colours

I ruined the card with my finger print on it lol, but lest I have an idea now to make a set of cards for Chrissy

It's a Nuvo kind of day

I only have 2 colors in the mousse as I only not long learned about this amazing mousse, truly is sweet in a crafty type of day. I've forgotten how much I love getting messy. Card not finished but wanted to share my nuvo efforts before I do more, I also added a touch of dylusion spray and then rubbed over the top with a wipe til I reached the texture I liked.

I paper distressed the edges on top of gold nuvo around the edges with my finger I hope this will be the start of my Christmas card makings.

As much as I am ment to be keeping my little crat area tidy lol, just could not help myself, this year I am going to make all my cards and add a tag with them this is the start.

I also used dylusion spray I forgot to add in the picture

All hours of the night, does it really matter....

I'm finding I am enjoying what I create more late at night, do you have this trouble, so here is my latest layout. Soon when my stash is looking a little more healthier again I will be following more sketches and doing the challenges. I've been following them.

Treasures from the heart

Today after a pretty rough weekend with another fall, fearing the worse that I had done more damage to a already had been fractured right shoulder following a previous fall I got the all clear and went home the same day. The weather has been crap here, it's like winter for days then one day hot weather no wonder half the town is sick. However today I was in good company with a wonderful friend and walked the shops and changed my scenary a little and got out and did stuff like a normal person and started hunting for Christmas Presents at the same time.

As we got home it bucketed down with hail, sleet, wind rain, had to wait in the drive way to get to my front door safely, as I had checked the letter box and found a lovelt unexpected parce from a community friend Kazz with such beautiful paper in it, my friend and I sat in the car admiring the wonderful gift was not long before the sun came out again and made it inside lol.

But its absolutely freezing
